Suzanne Ashe
Borealis Brass visited Petersburg for the first time and played several times during the Little Norway Festival including a mini concert at Assembly Chambers and a concert at The Holy Cross House. Members of the group are University of Alaska Fairbanks faculty Dr. Karen Gustafson, trumpet, Jane Aspnes, horn, John Aspnes, tuba, and Dr. James Bicigo, trombone, who perform as soloists and with ensembles in North America, Europe and Asia. They were joined by Petersburg’s Campbell Longworth and Bud Bergen.
