Season ends for Lady Viking hoops at Region V tournament Ketchikan

 


The Lady Vikings ended their season in Ketchikan last week at the Region V 3A/4A Tournament.

Petersburg’s girls started tournament play on Wednesday with a game against Craig.

The girls started out the game a little slow according to Lady Viking Head Coach Dino Brock.

They were down 5-9 at the end of the first and 12-19 at halftime.

“It was a very good defensive first half…we didn’t give up many open looks,”

said Brock.

The pace picked up in the second half as both teams turned up the offensive pressure.

Craig maintained a 6-point lead at the end of the 3rd quarter.
