March 14

Caller reported suspicious activity in the South Harbor.

Officers responded to a call regarding an intoxicated, aggressive individual.

March 15

EMS responded to a call at the air terminal.

An abandoned 4-wheeler was found in the forest off a trail behind the ball field.

March 16

Daniel Torrence, 53, was cited for improperly backing up and causing a minor accident in the Middle Harbor parking lot.

Caller reported smoke in the area of Haugen Drive.

Suspicious activity was reported at a business on Hungerford Hill Road.

March 17

A “Truck Crossing” sign was reported in the middle of the 400 block of S. Nordic Dr.

March 18

Officers responded to a call of a reckless driver on Harbor Way.

Unknown suspects stole a wallet from a purse in a building on Sing Lee Alley.

Minors were reportedly attempting to steal cigarettes from a building.

Officers stopped a driver on the 100 block of N. Nordic and issued an inoperable tail light warning.

March 19

Officers responded to a call of individuals trashing a room on N 1st Street.

A civil matter was resolved when officers responded to remove an intoxicated individual from a residence on S. 3rd Street. A summons will be issued after reports of a reckless driver that nearly went off the road near 4th and Fram streets.

Caller reported of a lot of trash on Fredrick Point Road.

A welfare check was requested.

March 20

Caller reported a missing dog on S. Nordic Drive.

A vacant Sandy Beach residence had suspicious activity reported.

Iralee I. Thompson, 45, was cited for driving 35 mph in a 25 mph zone on the 400 block of Sandy Beach Rd.

Caller reported a driver speeding and swerving near the mile marker 2 on Mitkof Highway.

A false alarm was reported at the High School. Maintenance is testing the system.

Caller requested officer assistance removing an intoxicated person from a residence on S. 3rd Street.

Officers also responded to reports of loud individuals on S. 3rd Street.

A civil matter was handled by officers on S. 3rd Street.

One burn permit was issued during this report period.
