April 4

A caller requested police help with an individual on Skylark.

Officers spoke with a person who is being harassed.

A noise disturbance was reported on Hungerford Hill.

April 5

Unknown suspects stole a women's multi-speed, light blue Trek cruiser whitewall tires from a building on Tango Street.

Caller reported kids were rolling boulders off the embankment in the Cold Storage parking lot.

April 6

Ricardo D. Vasquez, 57, was arrested on the charge of DUI and driving on a suspended or revoked license. According to police, he was found sleeping in his car on Harbor Way.

Officers responded to a noise disturbance in the Towne Trailer Court.

Officers handled a civil matter on Gjoa.

Caller asked about city curfew for children under 15 years old. The caller also reported a group of 12 to 13 year-olds out past curfew and making noise.

April 7

Officer responded to a verbal altercation on Poor Mans Float.

Officers responded to a request for a welfare check on Wrangell Avenue.

Two reports of reckless driving were reported at South Nordic and Libby Straits.

A possible vehicle theft was reported from Harbor Way.

Unknown suspects stole a bike from in front of the Sons of Norway Hall.

Caller reported being harassed on S. 3rd Street.

Caller was locked out of a vehicle on N. Nordic.

April 9

Cherise Lister, 35, was cited for driving 55 mph in a 40 mph zone at the 2.3 mile marker of Mitkof Highway.

Caller reported a large water truck holding up traffic at the 3 mile marker of Mitkof Highway.

Officers responded to a civil matter regarding the purchase of a boat in Towne Trailer Park.

Caller reported juveniles running around and shooting things with air soft guns.

Officers responded to a welfare check at First and Fram streets.

April 10

Police responded to a report of a car off the road on Twin Creeks Road.

Caller reported an indecent exposure incident in Hammer Slough. The caller, his wife and child reportedly saw two people having sex, police said.

Caller reported youths trespassing in the Public Works Yard.

David D. Estes, 21, was booked for probation violation.

Unknown suspects took a backpack with Apple computer and other items from the Community Gym Parking lot.

A jacket was stolen on S. Nordic.

Caller reported the driver of a vehicle had a child in their lap while driving on 3rd Street.

Officers investigated a possible criminal trespass on Lumber Street.

Officers handled a civil matter at the Beachcomber.

Several calls requested officer presence regarding a disorderly individual on Scow Bay Loop Road.

Two burn permits were issued. EMS was dispatched three times during this reporting period.
