Harold Peppers, 78, passed away April 16, 2012 at the Petersburg Medical Center. His best friend sweetheart, Pauline Young, son Bill and several family members were at his side.
Harold was born to Onie and Adle Peppers on February 2, 1934 in Norman, Ark. The family moved to Longview, Wash. in 1942 where he lived until March 2000 when he and Pauline moved to Petersburg.
Harold worked as a truck driver all his life until retirement. He liked to hunt, fish, watch NASCAR and camp out with friends and family. He liked to watch WWE and Smack Down and especially liked watching cooking shows.
Harold was preceded in death by his mother and father, sister Pauline Peppers and daughter Christall Bodine.
He is survived by three kids and five step kids; Bill (Judy) Peppers of Longview, Susan Workailia of Morton, Wash., Harold Peppers, Jr. of Longview, Tiana (Don) Duke of Petersburg, Clifford Todd Young (Kelly Cook) of Petersburg, and Ken, Sherrie, and Teresa Blanchard all of Longview, Wash.; 35 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; brother Buddy (Georgia) of Longview, Wash.; sisters Rusty Cassity of Longview and Shirley (Kenny) More of Eureka, Calif.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3 p.m. on Sat., April 21 at the Petersburg ANB Hall.
