Police investigated a burn permit violation on N. 6th Street.

Caller reported a family member being pushed on Kiseno Street.

April 12

A citation was issued for illegal camping at Dump Hill.

A caller reported an individual driving without a license.

A parking accident was reported at the ball field.

April 13

The fire department investigated a possible carbon monoxide leak on Gauffin.

Caller reported kids blowing whistles causing a noise disturbance on S. 3rd Street.

Caller reported juveniles smoking on school grounds.

Officers issued a warning to a driver in a car with no tails lights, the vehicle also had more passengers than seat belts.

April 14

Caller reported an individual driving recklessly on Sing Lee Alley.

Caller reported individuals skateboarding without safety gear.

Officer investigated a report of an individual driving all over the road at Libby Straits.

An unknown driver abandoned a vehicle at Scow Bay.

Christine Stewart was arrested on suspicion of driving without a license.

April 15

Marc Martinsen, 52, was arrested on charges of DUI and refusing a Breathalyzer test.

April 16

Caller reported a driver ran through three stop signs.

Police investigated a report of goats crossing the road at the 4.75 mile marker of Mitkof Highway. One of the goats appeared to be limping.

Officers responded to an individual locked out of their vehicle.

Report of intoxicated individual on the 200 block of N. Nordic Drive.

April 17

Palmer Thomassen Jr., 44, was cited for driving 50 mph in a 40 mph zone at the 3 mile marker of Mitkof Highway.

Unknown suspects allegedly stole an outboard motor, the case was referred to the Petersburg Alaska State Trooper.

Caller reported a truck spilled half of its load at 2nd and Haugen Drive.

Caller reported intoxicated individuals on S. 2nd Street.

Police had one barking dog complaint during this reporting period.
