May 9

Officers received two calls regarding an intoxicated individual in the downtown area.

Caller reported a disabled vehicle on the 1400 block of Haugen Drive.

Caller reported a noise disturbance from pounding or grinding noises from a boat on Mitkof Highway.

May 10

Caller reported an intoxicated person sleeping on a bench on Harbor Way.

Officers assisted the Harbormaster in talking with an individual concerning theft of service.

Caller reported a vehicle had been towed to a private parking lot at Fram and Nordic, and had been there for the past 10 to 14 days.

Unknown suspects took several things from the inventory of a business on North Nordic.

Caller reported a boat parked close to a stop sign on N. 3rd Street.

Unknown suspects took items from a vehicle in the Middle Harbor parking lot.

May 11

Officers spoke with caller regarding a possible theft.

Caller locked out of vehicle on Gjoa Street.

Caller reported a parking violation at Fram and Nordic.

Multiple callers reported a deer was struck and injured by a car, but ran away near the 2-mile marker of Mitkof Highway.

Unknown suspects took a bicycle from in front of the City Building.

Officers talked to callers who were complaining about each other.

Caller locked out of running vehicle on the 200 block of N. Nordic.

Officers issued a warning for inoperable taillights.

May 12

Officers issued a warning for speeding on Libby Straight.

May 13

Unknown suspects stole an iPad from a residence on Excel Street.

Officers found a vehicle in a ditch on Gauffin Street.

Caller reported a large manhole cover had come loose when driven over at Surf and S. Nordic streets.

Caller reported a 4-wheeler being driven in the area of Woodrow Wilson Dr.

May 14

Caller reported a vehicle parked in a private parking lot at Dolphin and Nordic.

Justin D. Falter, 24, arrested for outstanding warrants on S. Nordic.

Caller talked to officers about a civil matter on 8th Street.

Two callers reported a juvenile being harassed by another juvenile on Lumber Street.

An iPhone and an iPod were taken from the Community Gym. The phone was later found nearby.

Caller reported an intoxicated individual walking down the street yelling and calling people names at 4th and Haugen.

May 15

Caller requested a welfare check.

Caller reported an abandoned vehicle at the 8-mile marker of Mitkof Highway.

Caller reported an eagle took fish bait and swallowed a hook. Message was left for Dept. of Fish and Game.

One ambulance call was received during this reporting period.
