Keith Allen Hanson, 21, appeared before Deputy Magistrate Cris Morrison on three counts of vehicle theft; one count of driving under the influence; one count of criminal trespass; one count of driving with license cancelled/suspended or revoked and one count of criminal mischief – tampering with property. Hanson pleaded not guilty for the misdemeanor charges and a preliminary hearing for the felonies is set for 3:30 p.m. June 22. Bail was set at $2,500 appearance bond and $2,500 performance bond plus a third party custodian.
Justin Allen Patrick, 26, of Petersburg appeared before Magistrate Amanda Schulz of Juneau on three counts of fifth degree criminal mischief; two counts of fourth degree criminal mischief; resisting arrest and second degree attempted escape. Bail was set with $1,000 and $2,500 performance bonds for misdemeanors and a preliminary hearing is set for 10 a.m. June 26. Patrick was transported to Petersburg and appeared before Magistrate Desiree Burrell on the matter of Department of Corrections transport.
Kenneth A. Lister, appeared before Magistrate Desiree Burrell regarding arraignment on charge of failure to immediately affix locking tag to brown bear. Lister entered a guilty plea and was sentenced with a $500 fine with $250 suspended, a $10 surcharge, one year of probation and the total fine is to be paid by the end of the month.
