District Court

July 12

Kristoffer A. Norheim, 23, appeared before Magistrate Desiree Burrell for a status hearing regarding petition to revoke probation.

Susan R. Shorey, 22, appeared before Magistrate Desiree Burrell for an arraignment hearing on a violation of condition of release charge. Shorey entered a plea of not guilty.

Leonard M. Yatchmenoff, 41, appeared before Magistrate Desiree Burrell for an arraignment hearing on the charge of disorderly conduct – challenge to a fight. Yatchmenoff entered a plea of not guilty.

Gordon L. Lyons, 41, appeared before Magistrate Desiree Burrell for an arraignment hearing on the charge of disorderly conduct – challenge to a fight. Bail was set for Lyons at $250.

Christine L. Stewart, 49, appeared before Magistrate Desiree Burrell for an arraignment hearing on a violation of protective order charge. Stewart entered a plea of not guilty and bail was set at $500.

Mark R. Dyne II, 17, appeared before Magistrate Desiree Burrell for an arraignment hearing on the charges of driving under the influence and refusal to submit to a chemical test. Dyne pled not guilty.

Jacob Alan Sturgeon, 19, appeared before Magistrate Desiree Burrell for an arraignment hearing on the charge of repeat minor in consuming and a status hearing. This is Sturgeon's third charge since June and he entered a plea of not guilty.

Sandi K. Medina, 26, appeared before Magistrate Desiree Burrell for a change of plea hearing on the charge of domestic violence assault in the fourth degree. Medina entered a plea of not guilty.

July 16

Justin Dale Falter, 24, appeared before Magistrate Desiree Burrell for a condition of probation hearing and sentencing on charges of disorderly conduct and a violation of condition of release. Falter entered a plea of guilty and was sentenced to five days in jail for disorderly conduct and 10 days in jail for violation of condition of release.

Superior Court

July 16

George Dean Marlow III, 25, appeared before Judge William Carey for a condition of probation hearing and sentencing on charges of burglary and assault. Carey changed his plea to guilty in Superior Court June 6 and is sentenced to five years in jail on the charge of burglary in the second degree with two years suspended and five years in jail for the charge of assault in the third degree with one year suspended; five years probation; a surcharge of $100; jail surcharge of $150 with $100 suspended and cost of appointed counsel of $500.
