August 22, 2002 - Mountain View Manor expansion moved closer to beginning construction Monday when city councilors voted unanimously to award a contract to McGraw’s Custom Construction of Sitka for $3,361,000. Three companies bid on the project. Although several Council members expressed reservations, they authorized City Manager Bruce Jones to enter into a project which the manager described as “a big risk” financially.
