September 12

Dangerous driving was reported at Lumber Street and Nordic Drive.

September 13

An abandoned bicycle was found at Gjoa and 4th Street.

Officers were notified of items taken from a boat at Papkeā€™s Landing.

September 14

A driver was speeding on Mill Road.

A vehicle was parked and blocking the view of the intersection at 6th Street and Fram Street.

September 15

A traffic stop was conducted and a warning for speed was issued on Mitkof Highway.

Officers responded to an alleged assault.

A warning was issued for an inoperable tail light on Mitkof Highway.

September 16

Two abandoned bicycles were reported on Sandy Beach Road. Caller said they had been there for a week.

A vehicle was seen swerving all over the road and stopping for no reason on S. Nordic Drive.

Byron Lyons Sr., 44, was arrested for alleged driving under the influence in a watercraft and misconduct involving weapons at South Harbor.

A group of people were partying and riding four wheelers on the road on Lumber Street.

September 17

An unattended canoe was found at Banana Point.

September 18

A possible assault was reported on Lansing Street.

During this reporting period there were six EMS calls, 10 animal calls and five burn permits issued.
