Sept. 19

A vehicle was abandoned at the Ballfield.

Sept. 20

An underage individual was driving on Sandy Beach Road.

Sept. 21

An officer was notified of an intoxicated individual possibly wanting to fight.

Sounds of gunfire were coming from the vicinity of the harbor on S. Nordic Drive.

An individual was sleeping in a bush on S. Nordic Drive.

Sept. 22

Officers responded to a possible assault on S. 2nd Street.

A vehicle on Mitkof Highway struck a building.

A hole in the bridge was reported on Sing Lee Alley.

A family member on Lansing Street allegedly assaulted a juvenile.

Sept. 24

Donald Newell, 53, was issued a citation for speeding on Mitkof Highway.

Officer responded to individuals yelling and screaming at the South Boat Harbor area.

A motorcycle was stolen.

Sept. 25

An individual wrecked his vehicle on Harbor Way.

Alaska State Trooper was called regarding theft of items from private property.

A homemade trailer was parked for a long period of time with no license plates on the 100 block of Haugen Drive.

During this reporting period there were also 12 animal calls, three EMS calls and 12 burn permits issued.
