October 24

Two motorcycle riders were doing wheelies on Haugen Drive.

October 25

An outboard lower unit was stolen on Mitkof Highway.

A small motorcycle was reported tearing up muskeg on Haugen Drive.

A warning was issued to a driver for driving on a closed roadway on North Nordic Drive.

October 26

A caller reported a person in the woods behind a shop with a rifle on 2nd Street.

A cab was in a ditch on Nordic Drive.

October 27

Officer responded to a noise complaint on 3rd Street.

A vehicle with no plates was parked in front of an apartment building on 3rd Street

October 28

Derek Knudsen, 24, was arrested for fourth degree assault and domestic violence and misconduct involving a weapon.

An individual was reported not pulling over for emergency vehicles on Haugen Drive.

Officer responded to a noise disturbance on Sandy Beach Road.

October 30

A resident reported a strong smell of propane coming from neighbors yard, an officer responded.

“No Borough” signs were taken from a yard and replaced with “Pro Borough” signs.

Also in this reporting period there were two EMS calls, six animal calls and six burn permits were issued.
