Petersburg Pilot -

Inez V. Van Buren passed away peacefully, November 12, 2012, in Bellingham, Wash. She was born April 11, 1922 on the family homestead in the log cabin that was used for the first school house on Pt. Agassiz, Alaska. Inez was born a twin, her brother Wilfred died at birth and was buried ½ mile from their home under a tree. The cross is there to this day.
