Aaron Greinier, 30, appeared before Magistrate Desiree Burrell for a non-jury trial on the charge of driving a vehicle on approach of an emergency vehicle. Greinier was found guilty at trial and was given suspended imposition of sentence for six months; a fine of $250; a surcharge of $10; six points was taken from his driver’s license with the ability to gain two of those points back by attending defensive drivers education.
Derek M. Gibb, 31, appeared before Magistrate Desiree Burrell for a non-jury trial on the charge of hunting season bag limit of brown bear. Gibb was found guilty and was sentenced with a fine of $500 with $500 suspended; a police training surcharge of $10; one year probation: no restitution was imposed but the hide, skull and meat of the bear was surrendered to the state.
Nicholas Hendry, 21, appeared before Magistrate Desiree Burrell for an arraignment hearing on the charges of harassment and having alcohol on a licensed premise. No plea was entered at this time and a public defender was assigned. Hendry was released with conditions and a trial has been set for Jan. 15, 2013.
