The kings of pickle and smoke


The Sons of Norway Seafood contest had a huge turnout and all were able to enjoy Petersburg’s favorite food - seafood. Winners are: (from left) Kurt Kvernvik for the pickled seafood category with his pickled black cod, Sig Mathisen in the pickled herring category for his South of the Border Herring, Mike Luhr in the smoked salmon category with his smoked sockeye and Bill Olson in the smoked seafood category with his smoked baked black cod.
