December 6

Jennifer L. Kadake, 26, appeared before Magistrate Desiree Burrell for an arraignment hearing for a petition to revoke parole. A public defender was assigned to the case and further proceedings were set for Jan. 15, 2013. Kadake was released with conditions.

Eric L. S. Cole, 26, appeared before Magistrate Burrell for an arraignment hearing on the charge of driving with license cancelled, suspended or revoked and a violation of conditions of release. Cole entered a plea of not guilty and trial was set for April 16, 2013. Cole was released with conditions.

Troy Stephen Crandall, 54, appeared before Magistrate Burrell for an arraignment hearing on the charge of driving with license cancelled, suspended or revoked. Crandall entered a plea of not guilty and trial was set for Jan. 15, 2013 and was released with conditions.

December 11

Joseph W. Holden, 64, appeared before Magistrate Burrell for an arraignment hearing on the charges of license tag, permit violation; affidavit of accompaniment requirements; unlawful possession or transport of game and hunting season bag limit for moose. Holden entered a plea of not guilty and trial was set for Feb. 19, 2013 and was released with conditions.

Jesse L. Jeske, 32, appeared before Magistrate Burrell for an arraignment hearing on two counts of Southeast Alaska Sea Cucumber closed season and two counts of unlawful possession of commercial fish. Jeske entered a plea of not guilty and trial was set for Feb. 19, 2013. Jeske was released with conditions.

Francis Mendez, 31, appeared before Magistrate Burrell for an arraignment hearing on two counts of Southeast Alaska Sea Cucumber closed season and two counts of unlawful possession of commercial fish. Mendez entered a plea of not guilty and trial was set for Feb. 19, 2013. He was released with conditions.

Benjamin Seeland, 31, appeared before Magistrate Burrell for an arraignment hearing on two counts of Southeast Alaska Sea Cucumber closed season; two counts of unlawful possession of commercial fish; filing a false fish ticket for commercial fish and unlawful use of dive fish gear for a closed period. Seeland entered a plea of not guilty. Trial was set for Feb. 19, 2013 and he was released with conditions.

Edwin H. Laity, 42, appeared before Magistrate Burrell for an arraignment hearing on two counts of Southeast Alaska Sea Cucumber closed season; two counts of unlawful possession of commercial fish and two counts of unlawful use of dive fish gear in a closed period. Laity entered a plea of not guilty. Trial has been set for Feb. 19, 2013 and Laity was released with conditions.
