Troy Stephen Crandall, 54, appeared before Magistrate Desiree Burrell for a change of plea hearing and sentencing on the charge of driving with a license that has been cancelled, suspended or revoked. The charge was reduced to no valid operator’s license and Crandall entered a plea of guilty for this reduced charge. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 90 days suspended; a fine of $500 with $500 suspended; a police training surcharge of $50 to be paid in 10 days; a jail surcharge of $100 with $100 suspended and two years probation.

Ravenna Nilsen, 56, appeared before Magistrate Burrell for an arraignment of a minor dangerous dog citation. Nilsen entered a plea of guilty and was sentenced to a fine of $50 and the dog has to be on a leash if it is out of the yard.

December 19

Jace H. Cunningham, 30, appeared before Judge William Carey for a bail review hearing. Defense asked that bail for Cunningham be reduced from $30,000 to $5,000. During the course of the hearing the third party custodians that were initially approved were removed and bail will remain the same at this time.
