Tattoo and all-around artist Tammie Wales arrived in Petersburg Dec. 18 and has since donated her time and talent to the Petersburg Parks and Recreation Department in the form of a mural.

“I wanted to give something back,” Wales said. “But I also wanted to get my work out there and seen.”

Wales has been drawing and painting for years and has been a tattoo artist for the last three years and plans to open a tattoo shop here in the near future.
