January 30

Officers responded to a report of an individual going through vehicles on S. Nordic Drive.

Benjamin W. Byrer, 38, was arrested on the charge of probation violation on S. Second Street.

January 31

Officers were notified of an intoxicated individual yelling outside of the apartments on Haugen Drive.

A suspicious person was reported walking around with a pistol at Fourth Street and Haugen Drive.

February 1

Keys were stolen from a vehicle in the clinic parking lot.

February 2

A warning was issued for inoperable headlights at the 600 block of Haugen Drive.

Petersburg Municipal Power and Light responded to a report of arcing power lines at seven mile Mitkof Highway.

Guy G. Birchell, 19, was arrested on the charge of habitual minor in possession on Howkan Street.

February 3

Officers responded to the complaint of noisy patrons waking up residents on N. Nordic Drive.

A suspicious individual was knocking on doors of the Towne Trailer Court

Department of Transportation was notified and officers responded to a truck roll-over due to road conditions at 10 mile Mitkof Highway.

February 4

Several holes were found in the bridge at Sing Lee Alley by police foot patrol. Petersburg Public Works was notified.

A bag of jewelry was reported missing from a residence on Twelfth Street.

An individual was screaming and yelling profanities on S. Nordic Drive.

A possible intoxicated individual was reported at Haugen and Nordic Drives.

February 5

Michael J. Corl, 19, was issued a citation for speeding 35 miles per hour in a 20 mile-per-hour zone.

A truck was reported speeding on Sandy Beach Road.

Also during this reporting period there were four EMS calls, one animal call, and two burn permits issued.
