Vikings drop two to Mt. Edgecumbe

 


The Petersburg Viking traveled to Mt. Edgecumbe over the weekend and dropped two games but showed great competitive spirit and improvement.

“We have been talking about making sure we make the most of every possession,” Head Coach Rick Brock said. “I really felt that, more than any series throughout the year, we really stepped on the floor with confidence and played hard.”

Brock explained that the boys began the game Friday with an early lead and were up eight to 12 at the end of the first quarter.

“We got into foul trouble but were still up 28 to 21 at half-time,” Brock stated....
