Clifford Young, 46, appeared before Magistrate Desiree Burrell for a change of plea hearing and sentencing on the charge of fourth degree assault. Young entered a plea of guilty and was sentenced to 10 days in jail with 10 days suspended; $50 police training surcharge; jail surcharge of $150 with $150 suspended and one year probation.

February 19

Timothy Mark Volpi, Jr., 31, appeared before Judge William Carey for a petition to revoke probation arraignment. Volpi entered a denial and a public defender was appointed. Trial is set for April 22.

Andrew J. Rutherford, 30, appeared before Judge Carey for a change of plea hearing and sentencing on the charges of seven counts of unsworn falsification; six counts of license, tag, permit violations; nonresident hunting without a resident guide and fish and game license permit, tag fee. Rutherford entered a plea of guilty and was sentenced with a $300 fine for the unsworn falsification and license, tag, permit violations; $3,750 fine with $2,000 suspended for the nonresident hunting violation; $500 restitution for the fish and game license, tag fee; $50 police training surcharge and one year probation.

Benjamin W. Byrer, 38, appeared before Judge Carey for a petition to revoke probation arraignment on the charge of failure to register as a sex offender. Byrer entered a denial and trial has been set for

April 22.

Jacob A. Sturgeon, 19, appeared before Judge Carey for a petition to revoke probation adjudication on the charge of failure to complete alcohol training. Sturgeon entered an admittance into record and adjudication has been set for April 22. Sturgeon was released with conditions to get back into compliance of his probation.
