February 21

A bicycle was abandoned in the library parking lot for over three weeks.

There was a theft from a business on N. Nordic Drive.

An individual was reported driving under the influence on S. Nordic Drive.

February 22

A message was left with Petersburg Public Works about potholes in the road at Frederick Point.

An individual reported that their vehicle bottomed out in a pothole at the 400 block of N. Nordic Drive.

Vehicles were in an unauthorized area behind the airport.

An officer was requested for assistance with an intoxicated individual at Magill’s Trailer Park.

February 23

A vehicle was missing a headlight on S. Nordic Drive.

A request was received for extra patrols on Howkan for juveniles running around the neighborhood hiding in the bushes late at night.

Officers reported a vehicle had been rolled at 4.5 mile Mitkof Highway.

A vehicle was blocking a driveway on N. Second Street.

Officers were notified of a possible intoxicated driver on N. Nordic Drive.

A noise complaint was made on N. Nordic Drive.

February 24

An abandoned boat was moored in front of a residence on Mitkof Highway.

Officers responded to a car rolled over in a ditch at 5 mile Mitkof Highway.

February 25

Four flatbed trucks were reported headed toward Scow Bay with unsecured crab pots at Libby Strait.

An individual was riffling through property outside of a business at First Street and Haugen Drive.

Sandra Meeks, 53, was issued a citation for speeding 50 miles per hour in a 40 mile per hour zone.

February 26

A warning was issued for a vehicle in an unauthorized area behind the airport.

A verbal warning was issued for inoperable headlights and right brake light in the 400 block of N. Nordic Drive.

Also during this reporting period, there were three animal calls, six EMS calls and one burn permit issued.
