Vikings take down the Wolves at homecoming

The Petersburg Vikings hosted the Wrangell Wolves for Homecoming 2013 and came away big winners for the weekend.

“This was a great weekend for us,” Head Coach Rick Brock said. “We ended up winning both games and our play has improved from the beginning of the season.”

According to Brock the Vikings started out slow Friday evening but were ahead by two at the end of the first quarter, by three at halftime and only one point ahead at the end of the third quarter.

The Vikings won with a score of 57 to 43 Friday.
