March 14

An abandoned vehicle was reported in front of a residence on Haugen Drive.

An individual was yelling and swearing in the street on the 600 block of Ira II.

A caller reported an individual driving with a revoked driver’s license.

March 15

Officers responded to a request in getting customers home on Chief John Lott.

A possible abandoned vehicle was reported on Lumber Street.

Suspicious fund raising efforts were reported.

An officer was notified to help an individual get a vehicle back to a residence since the owner was not legally licensed to drive.

March 16

The Petersburg Harbormaster reported a boat taking on water. The owner of the boat was notified.

A bicycle was left for two weeks in an area between the hardware store and storage unit.

March 17

Multiple calls were received about a fight in progress on Sing Lee Alley.

March 18

A suspicious individual was reported in the library construction area at S. Second Street and Haugen Drive.

March 19

Jacob A. Sturgeon, 20, was arrested on the charge of driving with a revoked license on Skylark Way.

Possible fraud was reported when an individual called soliciting money to benefit the Petersburg Police Department. Fundraising efforts were unknown to local police personnel.

During this reporting period there were also four animal calls, four EMS calls and three burn permits issued.
