April 10

Officers responded to a report of harassment.

A can sitting in a drive was spewing orange smoke on Excel Street.

An individual spoke with officers regarding a report of indecent exposure on Rambler Street.

A traffic stop on Ira II for failure to stop at a stop sign and failure to stop at the direction of an officer.

April 11

Petersburg Public Works was notified of a manhole cover ajar at Sing Lee Alley and S. Nordic Drive.

A creepy individual was reported at the 200 block of N. Nordic Drive.

April 12

Kristian J. Berg, 23, was issued a citation for speeding at 30 mile per hour in a 25 mile per hour zone on Sandy Beach Road.

A vehicle was parked overtime in an area of W. Dolphin Street.

Peter O. Baekkelund, 43, was issued a citation for speeding at 60 miles per hour in a 50 mile per hour zone at six mile Mitkof Highway.

Officers responded to the report of loud music on S. Third Street.

April 13

A warning was issued for driving through a road closed area at 100 Excel Street.

Officers spoke with an individual regarding harassing communication.

Belinda Chase, 52, was issued a citation for speeding at 48 miles per hour in a 40 mile per hour zone on Libby Straights.

A bicycle was left in brush for a few days on Sandy Beach Road.

Officers were notified of a vehicle driving at a high rate of speed going north on N. Nordic Drive.

A bonfire was reported on the beach at Frederick Point Road.

April 14

Officers responded to a call regarding a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed and swerved into lane to nearly hit the caller at Hungry Point.

A possible theft from a vehicle was reported on Sandy Beach Road

April 15

A caller reported trespassing on their property. They reported no damage, but trash was left behind on Frederick Point Road.

A pistol was left in sight inside a vehicle on the 200 block of N. First Street.

Officers responded to the request to get people to leave a residence on Haugen Drive.

Sports cars were reported driving side by side on Fram Street.

April 16

Officers were notified of an individual speeding and running a stop sign at Fifth and Excel Streets.

During this reporting period, there were also seven animal calls, one EMS call and 14 burn permits were issued.
