Christine Stewart, 49, appeared before Judge William Carey for a change of plea hearing on the charges of failure to appear and violation of a domestic violence restraining order. Stewart entered a plea of guilty to the violation charge and was sentenced to 30 days in jail with 30 days suspended; $50 police training surcharge, $150 document surcharge with $100 suspended; $100 cost of counsel fee and one year probation.
Marsha Fernandez, 62, appeared before Judge Carey for a change of plea hearing and sentencing on the charge of fourth degree assault with fear of injury. Fernandez entered a plea of no contest to a reduced charge of disorderly conduct and was sentenced with a suspended imposition of sentence of six month; $50 police training surcharge; $100 jail surcharge with $100 suspended and $200 cost of counsel.
Mark R. Dyne, II, 18, appeared before Judge Carey for a change of plea hearing and sentencing for the charges of driving under the influence, refusal to submit to chemical testing, driving with license cancelled, suspended or revoked and a violation of conditions of release. Dyne entered a plea of guilty for driving under the influence and violating conditions of release and the charges of refusing to submit to chemical testing and driving while license is cancelled, suspended or revoked were dismissed. Dyne was sentenced for driving under the influence with 30 days in jail with 27 suspended; $1,500 fine; $330 cost of imprisonment; driver’s license revoked for 90 days; $75 police training surcharge and one year probation. For the charge of violating conditions of release Dyne was sentenced with five days in jail; $50 police training surcharge and $50 jail surcharge.
