April 17

Contractor requested a vehicle be moved for road work on Second and Dolphin Streets.

A caller reported a truck with a green cab driving with no bed and the side panels flapping in the breeze on Mitkof Highway.

A vehicle was reported crossing the center and snow line on the Libby Straight Stretch.

A black, red and silver diamondback mountain bike was taken from a building on N. Nordic Drive.

April 18

A disabled vehicle was in the roadway on Falls Creek Road.

Department of Transportation requested a courtesy call to the owner of a vehicle impeding street sweeping on S. Nordic Drive.

A parking concern was reported at the airport.

April 19

A warning was issued for taillight requirements and distracted driving on the 200 block of Haugen Drive.

Officers responded to a parking accident on Fram Street.

A warning was issued for speeding on Mitkof Highway.

A vehicle was reported in a ditch for approximately an hour on Noseeum.

April 20

An individual found a skiff floating in the harbor with the engine down.

Officers responded to a noise complaint and possible domestic dispute on S. Nordic Drive.

Petersburg Power and Light was notified of damage to a power line on Mitkof Highway.

Officers responded to a family fight on S. Third Street.

April 21

A juvenile dented the siding on a residence on Skylark.

A driver with a possible open container in the vehicle was reported on S. Third Street.

Loud arguing was reported on Haugen Drive.

April 23

Department of Transportation reported a disabled vehicle on the bike path at 2.4 mile Mitkof Highway.

During this reporting period there were also nine animal calls, five EMS calls and 17 burn permits were issued.
