Migration of the Sand Hill Cranes

Sand Hill Cranes could be seen and heard on Monday. During the spring migration to northern nesting grounds around a quarter of a million cranes fly above Alaska. Their loud musical voices and impressive 6-foot wingspans make these travelers a favorite for birdwatchers.
