June 12

Missing gas cans were reported from carport on Kiseno.

A vehicle had been gone through on S. Sixth Street.

Witnesses reported the theft of a fuel tank from a boat on Haugen Drive.

Small children were playing in street traffic on the 100 block of S. Third Street.

Officers were notified of a driver all over the road on Mitkof Highway.

June 13

Two full gas cans were found on the side of the road on Frederick Point Drive.

Officers were notified of two gas cans missing from a home on S. Fifth Street.

An individual was reported driving too fast and running stop signs on Scow Bay Loop Road.

Theft of fuel was reported on S. Fifth Street.

Officers were notified of inappropriate behavior at the playground.

An unknown vehicle caused damage to the right rear quarter panel of a parked vehicle at the Crane Dock.

Officers responded to the report that a vehicle rolled into a field from a parking area on Haugen Drive.

June 14

A vehicle was parked overtime with a For Sale sign on the 900 block of S. Nordic Drive.

A yellow, Diamondback Sorrento bicycle with black rims was reported stolen from Sing Lee Alley.

Brandon S. Estes, 20, was arrested on the charge of driving with license cancelled, suspended or revoked on the 1100 block of N. Nordic Drive.

Jace M. Payne, 20, was arrested for a warrant during a traffic stop on Mitkof Highway.

Theft of gerry jugs with fuel was reported on S. Nordic Drive.

A caller reported a person coming to their residence acting crazy on S. Second Street.

June 15

An intoxicated individual walked into a house, left, vomited on the steps and passed out in front of the house on Tango Street. Officers responded and escorted the individual to the proper house.

Officers were notified of a rooster crowing very early every morning and the owner will not do anything about it on Hungerford Hill.

An individual was reported looking in garages and vehicles on Lumber Street. Officers responded and told the individual to leave the area.

Harlan D. Bell, 62, was arrested on the charge of fourth degree theft for shoplifting at 1300 Howkan.

Suspicious activity was witnessed by officers on Birch Street.

An individual was reported trespassing on S. Nordic Drive.

A caller reported excessive speed and texting while driving in a neighborhood full of children at play at Kiseno and Fourth Street.

Officers responded to a neighbor disagreement at Magill’s.

A vehicle was swerving all over the road at 6 mile Mitkof Highway.

Officers responded to an individual possibly driving under the influence on the 200 block of N. Nordic Drive. The individual was parked in the middle of the street and stumbled out of the truck.

A caller reported a person or persons breaking windows out of a vehicle and smashing windows of another car on S. Third Street.

June 16

Officers responded to a family dispute at Magill’s.

A back hoe outrigger was in the street on N. Nordic Drive.

Banging noises were reported on S. Third Street.

June 17

Electronics were taken from a residence on Mitkof Highway.

A possible break-in attempt was reported on Unimak.

A caller reported a prowler on their porch on W. Lansing.

A teenager was reported speeding down Fram Street.

Branches were covering a stop sign at First Street and Gjoa.

Officers responded to a possible dispute on Skylark Way.

June 18

Officers responded to an individual refusing to leave a residence on Kiseno Street.

A truck was vandalized on F.S. Road 6209.

A caller reported an attempted burglary on Lake Street.

Officers responded to a parking accident on N. Nordic Drive.

During this reporting period there were 10 animal calls, six EMS calls and nine burn permits were issued.
