July 25

Police arrested Brandon Estes, 20, on charges of assaulting an individual on Nordic Dr.

Officer responded to reported fight in Kito’s parking lot.

Caller reported tourists from tour boats walking in the middle of the street. Officer spoke with tour boat captain.

Caller reported a stolen skiff at the South Harbor.

Abandoned vehicle in the Lighthouse Church parking lot reported.

Officer notified of wheelchair going against traffic causing a hazard

Caller reported an unsupervised small child riding a bike on Haugen Dr.

Complaint issued of a parked boat trailer causing a hazard. Officers responded and found trailer legally parked.

Plate number reported of vehicle parked for about four days in private lot on Excel St.

Harbor officer reported individuals fighting on Harbor Way.

Caller reported broken window on boat at South Harbor.

Officers responded to female screaming on Ira II.

Harbor officer requested police presence for possible trespassing on Harbor Way.

Caller reported burglar alarm activated in business on Fram St.

Theft from boat at South Harbor reported.

Caller reported strong propane odor on Vesta St.

July 29

Officers made contact with people violating curfew at Sandy Beach Park.

Caller reported unsupervised kids at park on 5th and Ira II.

Caller reported a youth shoplifting at the 200 block of N. Nordic Dr.

Officer notified for extra patrols due to report of gravel trucks speeding on Mitkof Highway as they drive into town.

Caller reported camper parked on N. 2nd St. for an extended amount of time.

Kelly L. Scaduto, 46, checked in to serve time for DUI.
