Emergency responders rescued a woman trapped in a wrecked SUV on Three Lakes Loop Road last Sunday evening

Petersburg Volunteer Fire Department Assistant Chief Dave Berg said they received the dispatch call around 5 p.m. August 11. He said they found the vehicle in a steep embankment, the front passenger side door crumpled against a tree, about three miles down the south end of the road. Two other passengers, both males, were able to exit the vehicle.
