At Farragut Farms’ last visit of the season on Tuesday Marja Smets proudly showed off this enormous turnip, describing it as the largest she’d ever grown. “It’s not for sale,” she said. Adding that if they had it earlier in the season, it may have deserved a trip to the SE Fair to compete with other elite vegetables.
