Former Petersburg school teacher John McCabe opened an exhibition of vibrant, abstract oil paintings at the Clausen Museum on Friday night. The art show, entitled “New Direction,” can be viewed through October 26.

Wild Celery hosted a reception for Carey Case’s first ever photo exhibit, called “Clouds and Light.” Her photography mostly depicts early morning light illuminating the unique landscapes around Petersburg, especially Devil’s Thumb.
