Brandy Christensen is the new Clerk of Court for the Petersburg District Court. She's been working in the office for the past three weeks. "It's been great," Christensen said. "It's very busy. I'm always learning." Christensen worked at the courthouse from 2011 to 2012 part-time. Magistrate Judge Desiree Burrell said their goal is to get her into a position as the deputy magistrate where Christensen would fill in in Burrell's absence and work one weekend a month. "She is such a fast learner," Burrell said. "We threw her into a felony trial on her first day. She's been doing spectacular."
