Vikings play final home games

The Vikings volleyball team played its final home games against Thunder Mountain last weekend. Although the Vikings lost its matches they put up a tough fight against the Juneau squad.

Head coach Jaime Cabral said the two seniors put up great defensive plays and the rest of the young team-made up of freshmen and sophomores-are progressing well.

"We couldn't have asked for as much hard work as they've put in," Cabral said. "They've done everything that we've asked."

The Vikings haven't taken home many wins this season but Cabral said the challenge of taking what were mostly young basketball...
