Petersburg Pilot -

Chuck was born in Joliett, Penn. on February 2, 1942 to Leroy and Peg Kolva. He was raised with his two sisters Lois and Dorothy who preceded him in death.

After high school he joined the Marine Corps and had the honor of serving in Vietnam. He earned his engineering degree and then worked for 32 years at Teledyne Ryan Aeronautical in San Diego, Calif. During his time in California he met Tommi and Al Cooper. They became fast friends and after Al's passing Chuck and Tommi become reacquainted and were married here in Petersburg.

He has a loving daughter and Petersburg family and many were with him during his final days.
