Petersburg Pilot -

Long time Petersburg resident and former school district employee Tye Leif Petersen, 45, plead not guilty during an arraignment held in U.S. District Court on three charges involving child pornography.

Petersen was arrested late October after federal investigators and local police conducted a search warrant of his home and electronic devices. Investigators found email attachments as well as CDs containing images and videos of young children engaged in sexually explicit behaviors.
