Richard Cavanaugh appeared before Superior Court Judge William Carey in a Change of Plea hearing. The defendant plead guilty to a charge of Assault in the 4th Degree and was sentenced to 10 days in jail with seven days suspended, a $150 surcharge with $100 suspended, six months of probation and other conditions.
