Vikings beat Wolves in homecoming games

Cayin McCay was drawing fouls and putting points on the scoreboard. He had outstanding shooting from the free throw line, 11 for 11, on Saturday night.

During last weekend's homecoming match up, the Varsity boys basketball team won two games against the Wrangell Wolves.

Head coach Rick Brock said the team made strides in two areas they've been focusing on.

"I think we made some positive progress from last weekend to this weekend. I felt our half-court defense was very good this weekend," he said, adding that the boys also improved on their offensive rebounding.
