Batting cage replaces skate park

The old skate park up at the ballfields has been transformed into a batting cage by the Petersburg Little League who will now manage the facility. The Petersburg Borough Assembly approved the change at their March 2 meeting ahead of the PLL's season opener on May 2. Parks and Rec Director Donnie Hayes said the skate equipment formerly at the facility will be auctioned off.
