Petersburg swim teams still improving

 


Petersburg swim teams headed to the Ketchikan Invitational last weekend, and there were no signs of slowing down since their home meet in Petersburg. If anything, Viking swimmers took the time off to improve their conditioning and the hard work paid off.

Both squads placed third in the team standings for the weekend, and head coach Andy Carlisle was pleased with the efforts of everyone.

“We had a good showing at Ketchikan,” Carlisle says. “We raced a lot better than we did two weeks earlier and looked much more fit.”
