The third season of youth girls basketball kicked off last weekend, with 15 girls attending the Saturday session including Reese Bunten (left to right), Charlotte Martin, Cadence Lopez, Rikka Miller, Elizabeth Burns and Iris Case. Coach Matt Pawuk started the program to help girls get meaningful time on the court and help them gain confidence through participation in athletics. The program is offered to girls in second through fifth grade and is held in the community gym on Fridays 3:30-4:30 p.m. and Saturdays 12:30-1:30 p.m. Girls can join until the program wraps up on April 9.
