Tuesday's high tide nearly leveled the North Boat Harbor ramp at just after 1 p.m. The 20.5-foot tide was the highest for the year and was brought on by the full moon of November 14. It is not only the biggest, closest and brightest supermoon of this year it's the closest supermoon since January 26, 1948. The moon appeared full and bright all night long on both nights – November 13 and 14. The moon won't come this close to earth again until November 25, 2034.
