The Beat the Odds cancer awareness organization in Petersburg raised nearly $2,300 in extended donations after three events last weekend, said Michele Parker, its committee chair. Forget Me Not Tollers, a Norwegian folk painting event, raised $1,290. A bake sale by employees with Wells Fargo raised $650, and Hillary Whitethorn's KOKOON show raised $347. The donations generated by the race were not counted as of Wednesday.
