With this issue of the Report, M.S. Perkins succeeds the undersigned as editor and publisher. Mr. Perkins, who has been connected with the Juneau Daily Empire for nearly four years past, is recommended by its editor as a wide awake and capable newspaper worker. With the assured continuance of the industrial growth and upbuilding of this city and tributary settlements, the new publisher will have opportunity to make of the Report a much better newspaper than it has been in the past.
