June 29 Alaska State Troopers on Prince of Wales went to the Goose Creek area in an attempt to arrest Thorne Bay resident Tucker Thompson, 34, and Klawock resident Wiley Heppe, 28, both with outstanding warrants. Upon arrival, neither of them were initially located and appeared they had fled into the woods. Shortly later, Heppe came out of the woods and was arrested. Per Heppe and another individual on scene, Thompson was not in the woods. Troopers were able to determine Thompson had been there hiding in the woods somewhere but were unable to locate him.
