Norwegian Honorary Consul for Alaska Lise Kristensen, left, wears a Rogaland Bunad and ambassador's special assistant Ankie Haugen wears an Oppland Fest Bunad in the Bunad Style show. Kristensen kicked off the Little Norway Festival on May 13 during the Little Norway Festival Pageant by reading a letter from the Norwegian ambassador to the United States Anniken Krutnes explaining the history of Syttende Mai, which celebrates the signing of the Norwegian Constitution.
