Reid Brothers Construction has finished building the first half mile of the new Ravens Roost trailhead. U.S. Forest Service staff announced that the trail is now open to the public. USFS staff said the side shoulders of the trail are soft and asks that hikers avoid those areas until the soil has settled and new vegetation is established.
