Grand masters emeritus for the Alaska Native Brotherhood and Alaska Native Sisterhood Frank Williams and Mary Jones lead a procession of representatives from tribes across Alaska and neighboring states, singing "Onward Christian Soldiers" as they marched. The Petersburg Grand Camp convened Wednesday morning in the community gymnasium, and will decide many tribal issues over the course of its stay in the borough, interacting Friday with state officials and concluding on Sunday.
